We'll meet in-person to discuss your vision and objectives. We'll talk about the scope and location of the project, your desired color palette, favorite plants, garden style, maintenance preference, budget, and timeline.
I use satellite images and maps where possible to create a site plan and supplement with an onsite walk through to identify and measure built objects and plants staying.
A background site drawing of existing elements (those items staying) is developed at this phase.
During this phase we discuss and align on preliminary design concepts and ideas. These meetings are typically online and may include review of the following -
· Inspirational pictures and ideas
· Initial diagrammatic concept(s) - General organization and flow of key design elements such as paths, trees and decks.
· Preliminary customized plant list with online link to photos and descriptions
This is the final stage of design. We'll review, typically online, and align on the design and deliverables as noted below.
· A computer drawn landscape 'concept' plan illustrating hardscape and plants
· A plant list with common and botanical names
· A planting plan that indicates where to install plants
· Landscape Plan. A computer drawn scaled color concept plan.
· Planting Plan. A plan that communicates where each plant is to be installed.
· Plant List and Quantities. Botanical and Common names of plants and quantities. Typically, I recommend purchase size too.
· A private online link to a plant photo album on Plant Master.
